I've recently had my Google Adsense account disabled. The majority of my sites where google ads appeared were built using ezAWB, but unfortunately Google has been unwilling to point to a specific site or example of a specific violation. The following is the text of my correspondence with Google. I would be interested regarding anyone else's experience:

Initial Notice

Hello,

We continually review all publishers according to our program policies (
http://www.google.com/adsense/policies ) and Terms and Conditions (
http://www.google.com/adsense/terms ). During a recent review of your
account, our specialists found that it was not in compliance with our
policies.

It is important for a site displaying AdSense to offer significant value
to the user by providing unique and relevant content, and not to place ads
on pages with little to no original content. Additionally, Google ads may
not be placed on non-content-based pages.

Your site should also provide a good user experience through clear
navigation and organization. Users should be able to easily click through
your pages and find the information they are seeking.

Please review Google's Webmaster Quality Guidelines (
http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=35769#quality
) for more information.

As a result, your AdSense account has been disabled.

You will receive payment for outstanding earnings, but we're no longer
able to partner with you or your network of sites.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense Team

Reply to Appeal

Hello,

Publishers may not place Google ads on pages that violate Google’s webmaster quality guidelines (http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=35769#quality). While we've included the following excerpts from these guidelines, we recommend that you take the time to review them in their entirety.

*  Make pages for users, not for search engines.
*  Don't employ cloaking or sneaky redirects.
*  Don't load pages with irrelevant words.
*  Don't create multiple pages, subdomains, or domains with substantially duplicate content.
*  Don't participate in link schemes designed to increase your site's ranking or PageRank.
*  Avoid "doorway" pages created just for search engines, or other "cookie cutter" approaches such as affiliate programs with little or no original content.
*  Avoid tricks intended to improve search engine rankings. A good rule of thumb is whether you'd feel comfortable explaining what you've done to a website that competes with you. Another useful  test is to ask, "Does this help my users? Would I do this if search engines didn't exist?"
*  If your site participates in an affiliate program, make sure that your site adds value. Provide unique and relevant content that gives users a reason to visit your site first.

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense Team

Google is TOO powerful. I hope Bing gets some market share from them so they start treating us with a little more love :-)

Hi,

I'm in the same boat as you. In my own case, I did not receive any email so I don't find out untill last week when going through one blog tutorial I just bought.  I think there should be alternative to adsense, so if anybody know about any and how to use them, will help.

Abi.
