The same thing happened like back in Feb but luckily to only 2 site this time.  I tried the local install and then FTP the index file to the sites but am still getting a message that the index file is corrupted.  Anything I can do short of reloading the whole site again???

If this has not been fixed, try renaming or deleting the old index file first, then copy up local index file - a second option maybe to backup the site - rerun the installation and then copy the pages you want to keep back up to your site. At least you will not lose any customization. Hope this helps..
