In the config file I've selected 'no' for the top widget and 'yes' for the bottom widget, and get no result, when I say 'yes' to both top and bottom I get both widgets, when I say 'yes' to top and 'no' to bottom I get top only. Anyone else experiencing a problem displaying the bottom widget only?

I thought I was seeing this yesterday as well when doing a couple installs

I went back in anc changed the settings a few times and made sure I refreshed the page and it dissapered.  Not sure if it was me or an intermitent bug.

Thank you for researching my issue and providing a solution. I'll go ahead and "get legal" with the paid version this week, as I've just been using the free version just to develop an understanding of the program and workout a process flow for developing, marketing and managing multiple sites.

As far as upgrading my existing sites to the new version 2.5.1, I watched the video, but need clarification on the process:

1. Back up all files from existing site
2. Do a Fresh Install of version 2.5.1 to the original directory and over write all files
3. Re-enter 'Config' file data and enter new 'eBay Partner Network' data

Am I correct that at this point, any customizations to header, footer, side1, side2, side3, other content, top content, middle content and bottom content will have been lost?

If so, which files from the back up need to be re-copied to new installation in order to restore these customizations (or does this have to be done manually as with the 'Config' file)?

Hi MrJaymo,

The files you need to backup are:
Side 1, 2, & 3
Header
Footer
Other-Content

AND

The files in the folder "static_content" (not the sub folders). Those are the content pages generated by you; example: top, bottom, and middle content.

IF you have done ANY customization directly on any of the templates, then you will need to implement those in the new installation templates.

Last, enter your affiliate IDs for all the programs you are using.

That's it.

Oops. Keywords (kwds.inc) needs to be re-copied too, right?

I don't believe kywords is changed but probably a good idea to back up just in case
