Hi guys, just purchased the software and the istall was easy thanks to your vids but the problem I have is that when I change the site id to 3 for uk and change the categories I just get 'error' when I slick a search term.

Also if a search term has an apostrophe it is displayed with a row of backslashes \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\.

Any help would be appreciated as I'm a total noob at all this.

Hi Chris,

What is the domain name?

Are you also adding "en-GB" for the language?

Make sure that there are no spaces between the quotes. Example:

Correct:

Code:

$siteId = "3";
$language = "en-GB";

WRONG:

Code:

$siteId = " 3";
$language = "en-GB ";

Also, what is the category number you are using?

trying to set up my UK site.  Mega version did the change above

but left -1 for category and no searches will come up.

Any thoughts?

I have been playing around and my keywords work so the -1 isn't the problem.  It is the popular searches with the us codes.  I can change them through the admin panel but that just creates more errors since the names don't match.  I think the popular searches need to be changed but are in binary so I can't do it 

Not sure how to proceed.  Has anyone else installed a mega version of a non-US site?

The popular searches have nothing to do; remember that EZAWB is built in separate modules.

There is another link in your admin panel to change all the other categories for the Mega. You will need to click on: Edit eBay Categories
