So I was just wondering if you were planning on changing to this linking code for the next version or if it can cause other problems and if I should use it for all my customized templates I am making.

That will not be included in the new version since it may affect the eBay listing pictures.

Regarding the bandwidth issue; I suggest you keep an eye on things and block the crawlers/robots that are eating bandwidth.

Also, keep an eye on people that start downloading full domains; you will see TONS of hits on all your domain pages.

I second the motion on the crawler thread.  I hate how host Gator gives resellers less bandwith than a normal user
