Create a blog: blogging has become very important and a great tool to generate traffic to your affiliate website from the search engines. You will also create a relationship with your readers, get to know them, and exchange ideas about your specific niche.

Social bookmarking: an easy way of creating extra traffic and incoming links to your website and blog is through social bookmarking websites. Social bookmarking allows you and other Internet users to share and exchange bookmarks by posting them to sites like Digg, Twitter, and Delicious to name a few.
There are software programs out there that will help you post your bookmarks to many social bookmarking sites quickly and easily.
Forums: another way to deliver highly targeted visitors to your site is by finding forums related to your niche where you will find many like-minded people. Get involved with the community and add a link to your website in your signature. Some forms will allow you to post links too.
Something to keep in mind about forums, is not to enter a form and start posting links right away… You will not be well received!
Article marketing: one of the best ways to drive targeted traffic to your website is through the use of article marketing. This is one of the oldest techniques for generating traffic, but it’s still one of the best.

And last… but not least…
Build an email list: do not make the same mistake I made… it took me four years to decide on building a list and it is the biggest thing I regret about not doing for my online business.
If you’re not building a list, you’re missing out on a major source of ongoing traffic. Your list is one of the most valuable assets in your Internet business. Your email list can give you leverage at any time to drive visitors to your website and help you make more money online.

What you will need to do is find a forum related to your website/store. Do a search for “YourNiche forum”
Replace YourNiche with the theme/niche of your website.
